eSIM Installation Guide
After you pay, ZGO emails your eSIM details to the billing address on the order. Keep that email open while you install. Need help afterward? See the FAQ or Contact page.
1. What arrives in your email
Look for a message whose subject looks like [ZGO eSIM] Your eSIM is ready — Order #…. Check Spam/Junk if you do not see it within a few minutes.
- Order # — your WooCommerce order number
- Package — the plan you bought (destination / data / days)
- ICCID — the eSIM profile ID (useful for support)
- AC / Activation Code — manual install string if you cannot scan
- QR — on-email image plus a QR link URL
2. Before you install
- Confirm the phone supports eSIM (Settings search for “eSIM”, or dial
*#06#and look for an EID). - Use a stable Wi‑Fi connection.
- Do not delete the email; you may need the AC later.
- Install when ready to travel. Some plans start on first network attach—read the package description.
3. iPhone
- Open Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data).
- Tap Add eSIM (or Add Cellular Plan).
- Choose Use QR Code and scan the QR from the email, or choose enter details manually and paste the AC.
- Follow the prompts to label the line (for example “Travel”).
- For data: select the travel eSIM for cellular data and turn Data Roaming ON for that line.
4. Android
Menus vary by brand. Typical path:
- Open Settings → Network & internet (or Connections).
- Open SIMs / SIM manager / Mobile network.
- Tap Add eSIM / Download SIM / Add mobile plan.
- Scan the email QR, or enter the AC manually when offered.
- Enable the new SIM for mobile data and turn Roaming ON for that SIM.
5. After install
- Keep your home SIM for calls/SMS if needed; use the ZGO line for data.
- If there is no data on arrival: confirm the travel eSIM is selected for data, roaming is on, and airplane mode was toggled once.
- Still stuck? See FAQs. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.
